The objective of this natural aquarium is to collect data on the marine coastal resources present in the zone of Las Galeras and to observe the habits of fish and shellfish in their environment by having a direct contact with them in a natural and free manner.
Another of the objectives is to take along national and foreign tourists to swim with thousands of fish.
This marine adventure is an unforgettable experience since the people have a direct contact with the marine fauna and flora.
Part of the installations of the natural aquarium is a gift of the Japanase Government and the people of Japan.
This natural aquarium is localised in the commune of Las Galeras, Province of Samaná, between Cabo Cabrón and Cabo Samaná.

Blue sky & green palm treesLAS GALERAS.- The murmur of the palms in the breeze and the song of the birds are mixed with its white infrastructure to make of Villa Serena the ideal hotel for the rest.
And this is precisely the concept of the hotel, which, as its manager Paula Pascale explains, was thought for relaxation and quietness.
If you want to move away from the professional responsibilities and the daily concern, an escapade in Villa Serena is the ideal destination.
The blue of the sky, the green of the palm trees and the more intense blue of the sea are a natural composition which give to Villa Serena a natural charm. Its decoration with details of colonial Victorian style is unique.
And by its situation on the paradisiac beach of Las Galeras, this hotel enjoys the varied ecological attractions offered by the Bay of Samaná.
A sumptuous tropical garden surrounds its installations, which added to the horizon mountains, confers to the hotel a romantic atmosphere.
Contrary to other establishments, Villa Serena proposes free tourism so that people who visit the area can fully discover it.
As well in the gastronomy, in the nature as in the entertainement offers, Villa Serena proposes the best of the Peninsula of Samaná.
